Carter Federal’s beginnings date back to 1954, when Floyd Carter chartered the credit union to serve the employees of International Paper Company in Springhill, Louisiana. Carter Federal Credit Union was chartered for the purpose of improving the financial well- being of its members and we are proud to stand on the same values and traditions today.

Currently, Carter Federal Credit Union operates eight branch locations with 3 located in Shreveport/Bossier. We offer a wide selection of checking and savings products, personal loans, business products, mortgages and lines of credit to serve your financial needs.
