We also utilize the latest technology, and all of our offices are networked together, so any of our offices can coordinate any type of real estate transaction anywhere in the state. Our History

On October 1, 1997, the principals of Caddo Abstract & Title Company, Inc. and Louisiana Title Company united to form United Title of Louisiana, Inc. as the largest title company in the state of Louisiana.

Caddo Abstract & Title Company, Inc., was formed in 1907 and was a leader in the title industry locally and statewide, primarily serving Caddo, Bossier, Webster, Bienville and DeSoto Parishes for nearly a century.

Louisiana Title Company, originally formed in 1984, provided comprehensive title services for real estate transactions throughout the State of Louisiana. Lenders Title Company of Little Rock, Arkansas, acquired United Title of Louisiana on April 1, 2007. Our predecessor companies have been leaders in the title industry locally, statewide and nationally for decades, serving all areas of Louisiana.

United Title of Louisiana, Inc. maintains offices throughout the state. Our offices in Shreveport, Bossier City, Alexandria, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and New Orleans allow us to provide comprehensive statewide service. Our offices are connected by a wide area network that allows us the flexibility to work on a file at any location. This also allows our attorneys and support staff to review and revise documents and provide support from any location.

Our company offers complete real estate title insurance and settlement services throughout Louisiana for both residential and commercial transactions.  From assisting developers with creation of subdivisions, to providing restrictions and covenants, to assisting builders with construction loan packages, to closing sales for Realtors, homeowners and relocation companies, to assisting with multi-million dollar commercial transactions, our company has played an integral role in the development of the real estate industry in the communities we serve.
