ABOUT US
Locally owned and operated Southern Cabinets started in the day of hammer and nail. At that time we offered customers hand drawings of their cabinets. The customer needed a good imagination to see the finished product.
Today, we use desktop computers in the office and laptops in the field to show customers their complete cabinets in full detail. The technology allows the customer to see their cabinet door by door and wall by wall using state of the art 3D cabinet building software. OUR HISTORY
In 1972 Southern Cabinets was started in a small room of what was then a local Hardware and Lumber company.
Today the 15,000 sq. ft. main building houses our offices, cutout department, face frame department, drawer department and assembly department. Included in the main building are two storage centers. One center provides a cabinet staging area before delivery and installation. The other serves as the receiving-warehousing area where we store our plywood and other sheet goods before processing.
The second building (approx. 8,000 sq. ft.) houses our Door department and additional storage area. It is in the second building that we store our hardwoods, such as Application Red Oak, Soft and Hard Maple,Clear and Knotty Alder, Hickory and Pecan just to name a few.
