Buzzard Billy's Swamp Shack

The Original Buzzard Billy's Armadillo Bar and Grill-o opened in Waco, Texas in January, 1993. Buzzard Billy's was the first restaurant to open in downtown Waco and helped kick off its revitalization. In 2008 when a great spot opened up, the Buzzard took a short flight and moved across the river to its new roost on the Brazos.

The Buzzard deck is known as one of the best places to relax and enjoy gorgeous sunsets. The deck is also a big hit with kids of all ages who love feeding the fish, turtles and ducks who circle below waiting for their treats.

Along with the unique and entertaining atmosphere, the Buzzard has been recognized year after year for its incredible dishes including the seafood, steaks, pastas, fantastic appetizers and outstanding desserts. For something wonderfully different try our Armadillo Eggs and the Fried Gator Fingers.
