The Curry-Holmes Insurance Agency

Curry-Holmes Insurance is a partnership comprised of Marla Holmes and Jami Curry. Both Marla and Jami attended Baylor University and have lived in the Waco area for their adult lives. Marla, recently retired, was an educator in the McGregor, Crawford and Midway ISD systems for over 30 years. She has been an active member of the community in various roles. She now resides and works in Waco. Jami worked for many years in the McLennan County Clerk’s office and then worked at Baylor Law School for over 10 years, until 2008. She was President of her church council, an active parent in the McGregor School system, and very involved in her community while she was raising her family. She now resides and works in Waco.

Jami and Marla started their first Agency in Waco in 2013. They chose to start the insurance agency together as a result of their mutual quest to find an agent who could truly educate them on their products and who valued true customer service and personal customer relationships. As their business grew, they realized that the prospective customers in the area could be better served by offering a greater variety of companies and products, as an independent agency would. When the opportunity to purchase a Goosehead Insurance franchise arose, they did just that. 

In the fall of 2015, Jami and Marla opened Curry-Holmes Insurance, a Goosehead Agency, and they have set their sights on being the premier insurance agency in a multi-county area. Curry-Holmes Insurance offers quality insurance and provides easy and friendly access for customers to contact them in person, over the phone, or through their website. Curry-Holmes Insurance knows the importance of price, service, and long-lasting relationships. Jami Curry and Marla Holmes are committed to offering their customers the same level of service that they, themselves, would expect.
