Taína was born in Hollywood, CA and found her true calling early on in life.
By the age of six, she had already begun her professional career landing a voice-over role on the hit television animation series SPIDER-MAN.
That experience motivated her to seek a career in the entertainment business. By the fifth grade, she was chosen to anchor her elementary school's news show, Regency Place Television.
After the 1994 earthquake in Northridge, CA her family relocated to San Antonio, TX where Taína attended the University of the Incarnate Word on an academic scholarship.
Immediately after receiving her degree in journalism, she was recruited by KBTV Fox 4 in Beaumont, Texas as a reporter and within a short period of time she was promoted to Weekend Anchor and Reporter.
In 2011, Taina was offered the position of Morning News Co-Anchor at KWTX News Ten in Waco, Texas, a CBS affiliate. As a mother of an eight year old daughter, she understands how to interact with young adults as they get ready for the day.
In 2014, she won a Lone Star Emmy for her coverage of the Fort Hood shooting as Anchor for the News at Noon on KWTX where her goal is delivering information that matters to you most.
